Questions about The BarkTrim

My dog keeps slipping on the floor. Will this fix it?

Most of the time slipping is caused by fur that has grown over the grip surface of the paw. Trim that back and the grip comes back.

Which kit do I need?

If you just want to keep the fur between the paws under control, the Starter is enough. It comes with everything you need to get started.

The Pro Kit is worth it if your dog's nails are also getting too long. Long nails push the toes upward and change how your dog walks, which adds to the slipping and puts pressure on the joints. The Pro Kit includes nail clippers, a nail file to smooth the edges, and two combs to work through knots before you trim. Everything comes in a velvet carry bag. For $20 more you can handle the fur and the nails at home without needing a groomer for either.
My dog panics with other trimmers. Will this be different?

Most dogs that pull away from other trimmers don't react to this one. It runs much quieter, which is usually what causes the panic in the first place.
